Bandai Namco revealed the Mobile Suit Gundam RG XARX-ZERO and the new vision on July 23, 2026. Filmmaker Kenji Kamiyama is set to direct for the upcoming anime, scheduled to premiere in the following year. The project creates a fresh Gundam universe, entirely distinct from prior canon. The XARX-ZERO is connected to the upcoming Gundam Rogue Orbit project. Kamiyama is working to construct a new timeline for the series.
