Macklin Celebrini joined back the squad and found the back of the net in a close loss to the Edmonton Oilers. The rookie forward, after being out of action, appeared in the game with another youngster Will Smith, who also featured in the NHL. Despite the loss, the Sharks saw a bright spot as Ivar Stenberg netted his first-ever professional goal during a different match against the Boston Bruins.
