Chase Elliott ran into the wall on Sunday at the Brickyard 400. He ended the race in 26th place. The vehicle sustained a hard impact but Elliott said the damage remained minor. Afterwards, Alex Bowman revealed he will leave the sport after 2027. Bowman’s exit opens a vacancy that may be filled by Conner Zilisch in 2028. Elliott only talked about Bowman following his own crash, and avoided any driver reshuffle talk.
